Small thing, big impact: Help a Mother Out works to improve baby and family well being by increasing access to diapers for families in need. Our vision is a day when every baby has a healthy supply of diapers. Our flagship “diaper bank” is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2009 we have distributed diapers and other hygiene supplies to over 22 agencies in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Monterey, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties. Eighty-nine percent of participating social workers report that our diaper program significantly affects their program’s capacity to serve and sustain clients.
